KY Series Specialized Release Agent for Aluminum Alloy Formwork on the First Floor
- Commodity name: KY Series Specialized Release Agent for Aluminum Alloy Formwork on the First Floor
- Product description
-
KY Series Release Agent is a highly effective release agent designed for demolding concrete from aluminum alloy construction formwork. It is a new, environmentally friendly release agent recently developed by our company. When aluminum alloy formwork is used for the first time, a chemical reaction often occurs between the aluminum and the concrete, resulting in concrete residue adhering to the formwork surface and a poor finish on the concrete surface; To address this challenge, our company has introduced KY Series Release Agent, which is primarily used for demolding the first three layers of aluminum formwork. It minimizes concrete residue on the aluminum formwork to the greatest extent possible and effectively improves the poor surface appearance of the concrete. After demolding, the concrete surface is smooth, with minimal honeycombing and air bubbles. Compared to other oil-based release agents on the market, the advantages of KY Series lie in
1. Low cost;
2. Low oil content, minimizing the risk of contamination and adhesion issues in reinforced concrete;
3. Leaves no impregnation marks or yellowing on the concrete surface; the poured concrete products have a smooth surface with minimal honeycombing and air bubbles;
4. Does not drip easily during application, reducing waste during construction.
Product Characteristics
Appearance: Milky white, viscous emulsion
Application Scope: Aluminum alloy construction formwork
Ingredients: Imported release oil, separating agent, surfactant
Coverage: 8–10 m²/kg
Application Method
Use for the first three layers of aluminum formwork release. Apply directly with a paint roller; do not dilute with water.
1. Clean debris and dust from the formwork surface. If dust adheres to the formwork surface during application, it must be promptly removed with a metal scraper (do not grind directly with a grinder) to prevent thick layers of debris from absorbing the release agent and compromising demolding performance;
2. Keep the surface of the aluminum formwork as dry as possible. If the surface is damp or wet, wipe it dry with a mop or cloth; otherwise, the release agent may not adhere properly, reducing its adhesion to the formwork and compromising the demolding effect;
3. Give the release agent a light stir to ensure it is evenly mixed before use. If the release agent does not spread evenly, be sure to dip the paint roller into the release agent sparingly and apply it to as many formwork panels placed side by side as possible. If the paint roller is saturated with too much release agent, it will become unable to rotate, preventing even application;
4. Pour the concrete mixture once the release agent has dried and formed a film.
Precautions
Store in a cool, shaded area away from direct sunlight and rain;
Seal any unused release agent tightly; otherwise, the product’s shelf life will be compromised;
Ensure even application; an excessively thick layer of release agent may cause the wall surface to turn yellow or black.
