High-Temperature Forging Release Agent / Titanium Alloy Release Agent
Release Agent Overview:
A release agent is a separating film applied between forgings, castings, and molds to prevent formed castings from sticking to the mold, ensuring smooth metal flow so that castings can be easily removed from the mold while maintaining casting surface quality and preserving the mold. For forgings and castings, which are formed at high temperatures where molten metal exhibits strong adhesion to the mold, a good release agent should possess the ability to prevent oxidation at high temperatures, excellent lubrication and release properties, good cooling and thermal insulation properties, and strong lubricating performance. The release agent also exhibits heat resistance and stress resistance, is not prone to decomposition or wear, adheres to the mold without transferring to the workpiece, and does not interfere with painting or other secondary processing operations.
Product Overview:
Boron nitride release agents are high-temperature release agents refined from boron nitride as the base material, supplemented with various fillers. This product offers excellent temperature resistance and superior anti-adhesion performance, making it particularly suitable for gravity forging, gravity casting, low-pressure casting, glass hot bending, and other applications. With a high-temperature resistance of up to 1200°C, it offers superior lubrication properties. It is water-based, non-toxic, pollution-free, and highly eco-friendly. It possesses excellent film-forming adhesion and does not react with molten metals (such as titanium alloys, stainless steel, titanium-aluminum alloys, aluminum, copper, etc.) or molten glass. It maintains its special effects of lubrication, release, oxidation resistance, and anti-adhesion even at high temperatures.
Widely used in various metal forging applications, such as titanium alloy products, aluminum-titanium alloy frames, and stainless steel products, for lubrication and release during high-temperature processes including baking, hot bending, deep bending, hot melting, embossing, and sintering. Spraying this product onto mold surfaces prevents corrosion and extends the service life of the molds. Its unique lubricity and non-stick properties significantly exceed those of similar products, resulting in transparent, smooth, and high-quality finished products. The effects are particularly remarkable when applied to challenging bending processes such as deep bending, irregular shaping, hot melting, and polishing. It can also serve as a lubricant and barrier agent for raw sheet production, a high-temperature protective agent, a release agent, an antioxidant, a high-temperature oxidation-resistant coating, a dry lubrication interface, and a corrosion-resistant interface.
Applications:
1. Heat-sealing desiccants for transistors and thermal-conductive insulating additives for polymers such as plastic resins, rubber, and coatings
2. Drill bits, abrasive materials, and cutting tools
