KY Series Release Agent is an oil-based release agent developed specifically for China’s emerging prefabricated construction market. It is particularly suitable for demolding precast stair molds and other vertical molds. Currently, most water-based release agent emulsions on the market have poor adhesion to vertical molds, resulting in suboptimal demolding performance. This requires manual cleaning of the mold platform before each concrete pour, which is not only labor-intensive but also causes damage to the mold platform; While conventional oil-based release agents generally provide satisfactory demolding results, they leave residues on the surface of the components, causing varying degrees of color variation in the finished product; The KY Series oil-based release agent effectively addresses these issues. It significantly improves adhesion to the mold surface, allowing the concrete to separate smoothly from the mold during demolding while maintaining the concrete’s shape and keeping the mold undamaged. It also greatly mitigates the color variation and excessive honeycomb porosity commonly associated with standard oil-based release agents.

Instructions for Use
1. This product is intended for direct application using a paint roller or brush; do not dilute with water;
2. Ensure the release agent is applied evenly to the formwork surface. Do not apply too thickly, as an excessively thick layer may cause an increase in honeycomb bubbles on the component surface;
3. If the release agent has been stored for an extended period, stir it thoroughly before use.
Application Method
1. Clean the formwork surface thoroughly;
2. Apply the oil-based release agent evenly to the formwork surface using a paint roller or brush;
3. Pour the concrete after the release agent has air-dried and formed a film.
